Ann Mould was born
at Nailor’s Shops in Washington, Co. Durham, England, and christened 18 July
1819 at Washington Holy Trinity, the fifth child of William Mould and Ann Porter.
Ann married George Hornsby of
Lowick, Northumberland in 1841 at St Andrew’s, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Ann and George, a
builder, were the parents of:

Isabella Hornsby born in Amble, Northumberland and christened 25
July 1841 at St Lawrence, Warkworth;

John Hornsby born in Amble and christened 28 April 1844 at St Lawrence, Warkworth;
·
Mary Ann Hornsby born in Amble and christened 15 March 1846 at St Lawrence,
Warkworth;
·
William Hornsby born about 1848 in Wrekenton, Co. Durham;
·
Elizabeth Hornsby born about 1851 in North Shields, Northumberland;
·
George Hornsby born about 1852 in North Shields, Northumberland;
·
Robert Porter Hornsby born about 1854 in North Shields, Northumberland;
and
·
Samuel Hornsby born about 1857 in North Shields, Northumberland.
Nothing more is known about the family at this stage.
